CCTV images of man released following series of attempted burglaries in Swadlincote |

|
We have released CCTV images of a man we would like to speak with in connection with a series of attempted burglaries in Swadlincote. So far seven offences have been identified as taking place in Old Railway Mews, Church Street, Hamilton Drive and Nursery Close between 1am and 4am on Friday 6 February. Detectives believe this was a lone man who was trying the door handles of houses, garages and vehicles. He is described as white and was wearing a black jacket, blue hoody, grey jogging bottoms and dark trainers. He was wearing a face covering, which was possibly a white t-shirt, and was wearing a black glove on one hand and a pick glove on the other. Officers have made extensive enquiries into the series of incidents and we have now released two CCTV images of a man we would like to speak to in relation to the offences. We appreciate the images are not the clearest and the man has his face partially covered, but we are hoping someone may recognise him from his clothing and come forward.
